On 3rd et 4th June 2023, the 29th edition of  the “Fête des Jardiniers” takes place in the gardens of the Château du Lude.

The event gathers plants collectors, nurserymen, horticulturists, and, from a few years now, producers of local delights. On the terrace, 60 exhibitors present a pannel of their production of plants and tools for gradening.

New producers join the regular ones: basket maker, perennial plants, english tools, antique dealer, etc.

The “Fête des Jardiniers” is first of all a place to learn: the visitors look at and participate to the workshops. During the visit of the gardens, the specialists give their precious advice of ancestral or innovative techniques. All along the week-end, one can learn about creation of living fences, grafting, create decors in earthenware, discover the secrets of medicinal plants and so on. Some of the workshops are specialy created for children.

The local products are always welcome at Le Lude. Home made and respectufull of nature, they are selected with care in the area for their excellence: honney, cheese, ice creams, …

– MALICORNE EN FLEURS,  27th May to 7th July
Collection of historical creations from the MUSÉE DE MALICORNE on the subject of flowers and plants. In the Renaissance Gallery.

– FLORAL HERBARIUM, 3rd and 4th June
Creations of Catherine Mignot: pictures made with dried flowers.

Sunday afternoon, enjiy a concert in the kitchen garde. The musical ensemble Voix lactées (singin, harp, guitar et transverse flute) offerts a concert of sung poems.
