First days of spring at the Château du Lude

The days are getting longer and the nature slowly awakes. It is chance to take a walk in the parl of Le Lude and enjoy the atmosphere of a great inhabited castle, where the decors and furnitures tells about 700 years of architecture and French way of life.

In the house, the children can become princesses and knights with the suits at there.

In the gardens, everything seems asleep, and yet the first buds are comming out, you can can even see the flowers of the season: snowdrops, hellebores, mahonias, fragrant honeysuckles, sarcococcas.

The mazes are ready for the children to play, such as the underground tunnels and the playing area.

In their pen, the sheeps Soay quietly await the birth of the lambs. Before the horse stabbles, the hens Le Mans and Vorwerk joyfully cackle to announce the start again the egg-laying!

Before livng, make a detour in the granary and the horse stables to take a picture in the Coach of the Duke of Daillon.
