Spring walk in the gardens of Le Lude

Every week-end in March, the Château du Lude’s gardens are open.

From the rose garden to the botanical walk, passing by the medieval moat and its underground tunnels, enjoy various garden atmospheres.

In the undergrowth, the firts buds are showing, while the birds’ singing gives walkers a real plaesure. In the spring garden, the first blooming adds spots of colour are a delicious perfum in the air.

In the meadow, the Soay sheeps quietl pasture waiting the spring and the birth of the lambs. In the henhouse, the chicken lay again.

For the children, many places are perfect playgrounds: two mazes, the moat and their undergroun tunnel, and the playing area.They can also discover the carriage room, the saddlery and the horse stabbles.
