Have a walk in the Lude’s Gardens

Spring is not yet arrived, but with the lengthening days, the nature is slowly awaking in the woods.
During the holidays, enjoy the fresh air and have a family walk!

In the spring garden, the first buds and flowers are showing, especially the hellobores, the snowdrops and the winter honeysuckles with their powerfull and marvellous perfume.

In the flooded pastures and on the Loir river, the wild birds can be observed: swans, herons, cormorants and other kingfishers.
In the woods, maybe you will have the luck to see a robin, a tit or a great spotted woodpecker.

In their meadow, the Soay sheeps are quietly grazing, waiting for the spring and the birth of the lambs. In the henhouse, the hens get back to lay.

For the children, the spaces around the castle are perfect to play: moat, underground tunnels and mazes are wainting them!

Gardens oopen from 15th February to 7th March, every day except on Friday.

• Hours : Garden and shop open from 2pm to 5.30pm
• Prices : adults 7€ / children (7-15) 4€ / students 6€

– Gardens reachabble for peaple with reduced mobility.
– On leached dogs are allowed in the gardens.
